| SSL Validation | When ordering an SSL certificate there are two types of validation an SSL authority performs:

| SSL Warranty | Total amount that buyers and visitors can collectively claim against a certificate being mis-issued. SSL certificates issued by trusted SSL authorities carry a level of authentication that website visitors are dealing with an authorised person of the site or a real business entity. Should a visitor lose money due to improper verification, then they can claim losses back from the SSL authority under this warranty. |
